It started in 1987, when our Dad opened the first Classic Kitchens showroom. The styles have certainly changed a bit since then (and we all have less hair) but our values have remained the same; attention to detail, impeccable service and high-quality products.

Open Plan Contemporary Family Kitchen

A large extension was added to the rear of this property we recently worked on in Worcester to create an open plan contemporary kitchen, dining and living area to accommodate all the family (3 young children and a dog).

The owners of this stunning renovation relocated to Edgbaston as a family in 2015, and as their family expanded, their home evolved into a contemporary living space while preserving the Victorian charm of the house.

Mrs Hadley came to us looking for an industrial style kitchen that would compliment her original oak floor and work well against the new crittall doors and surrounding architecture. The originally brief started with a dark shaker kitchen, however after exploring the options with our designer Cathy it became clear that a sleek handless kitchen from German supplier Pronorm was the perfect solution.

Period properties are fantastic buildings in which to create a dream kitchen, especially when they include a rear extension that lets the light flood in. This Victorian house had a complete single-storey renovation at the back, with an extension for the new kitchen-diner-living area plus utility room complete with skylights and full-height, full-width sliding doors to seamlessly connect the inside and outside spaces.

'Living the dream'. From my first enquiry to the installation, the whole process has been above and beyond. The designer listened to my likes, dislikes and took into consideration my families lifestyle. She put forward ideas and suggestions based on my moodboard and wishlist. The computer 3D images brought the plans together. The fitter was also amazing, such attention to detail. He cleaned up meticulously after each day. The costing was comparable to Wren. The quality I feel is far superior to other well known stores. Thank you all for being fabulous.

Classic were fabulous from start to finish. We firstly met with Cathy who designed our kitchen. She completely understood what we were trying to achieve and guided us through the design process. Cathy liaised with our construction company to ensure the specifications were spot on and the kitchen was delivered in time with the build schedule. The fitting went smoothly and we had contact throughout the process to ensure we were happy. I cannot recommend highly enough.
