From taking your time to enjoy your morning coffee to sharing a meal with friends, kitchens are more than just a place to cook. And with over 35 years of experience, our award-winning team appreciates that there’s more to creating your perfect interior than simply ensuring your design works practically. That’s why we always take the time to listen to your requirements and understand your individual likes and dislikes. Our skilled designers go to great lengths to make sure every element of your new space perfectly captures your style and complements your needs. To give you an exclusive sneak peek into our meticulous design process, we’re going to talk you through some of the latest kitchens created by our Solihull team.
Bringing A Showstopping Centrepiece To A Beautiful Grade-II Listed Watermill On The Outskirts Of Solihull
This extraordinary Solihull property certainly demanded an equally spectacular kitchen, and that’s just what our award-winning design team set out to deliver. We immediately knew a beautiful handcrafted in-frame kitchen from Mereway’s Signature collection would be the perfect choice. The intricate beaded detailing around each frame and unmistakably luxurious finish bring an impressive touch of opulence to the space.
We were struck by the stunning original oak beams and opted to introduce a contrasting navy blue to the island to accentuate the rich, amber-toned woodwork. The deep blue island creates a fantastic focal point, grounding the design and establishing a feeling of depth, while the elegant grey wall cabinets exaggerate the scale of the room.
In order to ensure our design would stand up to the distinctive architectural features and create the magnificent centerpiece our clients were looking for, we chose to centre the cabinetry around a dramatic bespoke chimney breast and mantle. The perfectly symmetrical furniture, grand mantle, and showstopping mirrored splashback bring a dramatic presence to the space. This opulent and confident Solihull kitchen makes a fitting addition to our client’s remarkable new home.
A Newly Extended Property In Solihull Gets An Equally Chic New Kitchen
Like many of our customers, our clients were in the process of extending their property in order to accommodate their growing family when they attended our Solihull showroom with their architect’s plans. We worked closely with them and their architects to tailor the design to their needs and space. Incorporating plenty of practical deep pan drawers, a Siemens induction hob, a state-of-the-art Quooker tap, and a handy breakfast bar, this kitchen is perfect for family living.
Our Matt White Futura handleless cabinetry forms the foundation of the design. It seamlessly echoes the clean contemporary architecture, complementing the room perfectly. Featuring subtle flecks of blue glass, the Silestone Blanco Maple quartz worktops cleverly tie in with the brushed steel fixtures while reflecting light throughout the space. From the washed oak flooring to the grey quartz fireplace, the subtle tonal variety of light-enhancing natural finishes accentuate our attention to detail and establish a luxurious yet minimalist feel. This stunning Solihull kitchen is beautifully understated yet undeniably spectacular.
A Luxurious Solihull Kitchen Designed With Entertaining In Mind
Based in Knowle, on the outskirts of Solihull, our clients were looking for a sophisticated kitchen to complement their love of socialising and entertaining. The first thing we did was install a set of bi-fold doors on the rear wall. As well as providing a lovely garden view, they also flood the room with natural light, creating a much more social, open feel. The mirror-finish splashback and exquisite Silestone Calacatta Gold worktops bounce this light around the room, emphasising the airy and inviting ambience. The natural lighting also beautifully enhances the soft grey in-frame cabinetry, adding a luxurious and radiant edge to the design.
This moderately sized Solihull kitchen isn’t short of magnificent features. A bespoke mantle highlights the fabulous range cooker, bringing a wonderful sense of grandeur to the space. The impressive pantry cupboard behind the island also introduces a touch of drama, balancing the scheme while providing ample storage. Finally, the stunning dark grey island plays a crucial role in transforming our client’s kitchen. It not only makes a gorgeous focal point but also gives the room a much better flow. This elegant, bespoke Solihull kitchen is every bit as practical as it is beautiful.
