We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we won ‘Kitchen Showroom Of The Year’ at the 2024 BKU Awards.
Launched by Bathroom & Kitchen Update publisher Datateam Business Media in 2015, the BKU Awards has firmly established its position as the ultimate scheme for the recognition of excellence in the sector and the key networking event in the calendar of all bathroom & kitchen professionals.
Revered for placing all of the decision-making power in the hands of the industry itself, a BKU Award represents a truly independent stamp of approval. Each year, hundreds of entries & nominations are submitted and professionals vote in their thousands to determine who is the best of the best.
Hundreds of professionals from across the KBB sector headed to The Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Friday 21 June to celebrate the industry’s collective successes at the 10th annual BKU Awards ceremony.
Having been nominated for ‘Kitchen Retailer of The Year 2024’ and ‘Kitchen Showroom of The Year’, it is an honour to gain recognition for our outstanding service and commitment to excellence which we have continued to deliver for our customers, even in the face of adversity. Unlike other events, the BKU Awards are voted for exclusively by industry professionals, including retailers, brands, and designers. Earning recognition from some of the most respected names in the business and being shortlisted alongside some of the country’s finest retailers is a real privilege and is something we’re incredibly proud of.
The 2024 ceremony provided Classic Interiors with plenty of reason to celebrate, with the retailer taking home the prestigious award for Showroom of the Year.
As well as being an opportunity to toast the industry’s very best brands, retailers and individuals, the ceremony served as a milestone for the scheme itself – with the event marking the tenth anniversary of the BKU Awards, which was launched in 2015 by BKU magazine publisher, Datateam Business Media.
During the opening speech business director Carl Hearnden commented on the journey to this incredible landmark: “When we launched the Awards, we had one aim: to provide an unrivalled platform to recognise the very best in KBB. We hoped that a BKU Award would come to be synonymous with the highest levels of excellence and that it would truly mean something to win one.
“The fact that you are all here today, excited and raring to go after another record-breaking year, is a testament to the fact that we’re doing something right.”
After settling down for lunch, guests were then treated to a surprise round of comedy from comedian Russel Kane.
